Day 2-Wythe House & Misc.

The second place we toured was the George Wythe house.  We also went in and looked at the Burton Parish Church.  Here are those pictures, and a few other miscellaneous shots for fun.

Bowden-Armistead House (a privately owned home we could not tour)

Have I mentioned I like trees?

This pretty kitty was stalking squirrels outside the Bowden-Armistead house.

The entrance to the Burton Parish Church.

Pretty windows.

Gated entrance to the wheelchair entrance to the church and grave yard.  There was a tombstone of a family that had included a family servant on the tombstone.  I thought that was pretty sweet.

The George Wythe House

We liked this large fireplace in one of the buildings belonging to the Wythe Family.

Wythe Laundry house, currently the home of the Basketweavers.

Basketweavers!

They used simple but cool tools!

Some really pretty chickens!

This cock was a pecker, he pecked David a few times! (Naughty bird!)

Fluffy chicken!

Pigeon Coop

Another pretty archway

The joinery, lovely!

More pretty archway.
The necessary.  For when it's necessary.

We just thought it looked cool!

The Everard House.

Pretty!

One of the horse and carriages we saw riding around.

They were awfully pretty

Yup...another tree :)

We had lunch here, yum!

Another building we liked.

This is where we are staying, I'll post better pictures soon.

Pretty little court yard.
