Light at the End of the Tunnel

Just as we were recovering from David's last trip to CA, he found himself having to go back.  It sucks.  I find myself looking at this picture a lot:

Thank you again Angela for the super awesome mega rad viking hats!

David made me a yummy batch of soup that I have been feasting on this week.  He's taking care of me even from CA.  I'm thankful that this trip is not the full week.  Two more sleeps and I'll have my sweetie home with me.

Puppy would like me to stop taking pictures of her

I got to visit with my sister and the kiddos today.  They always cheer me up when I'm missing David.  W and peanut are growing up so fast, and it's been great getting to reconnect with my sister and get to know the amazing person she has become.  I have to remember I owe them a chicken finger feast.  I hate it when good chicken takes a dark turn.  It was just meant to be one of those days.

Tomorrow will be better-oh wait, except for the dentist...

Work helps the time go by.  We have both been busy at least.  Tomorrow I get to have another cavity filled, so David will get some nice numb-face pictures tomorrow.  They are kind of funny after the fact. I will be curling up with Puppy, and a Sookie Stackhouse book and waiting for my sweetheart to come home.  Two more sleeps...

...and then we'll have this to look forward to!
