Let Down

I am usually the last person who wants it to snow and be cold and icy, but this week I have never wanted it more.  The weather teased me, said maybe, and then didn't put out.  I have bad knees and have discovered parts that ache when it's too cold that didn't ache before.  Cold weather is not my friend.  What is my friend, and why I wanted it so badly, is my warm bed.

I'm sitting in my office getting ready to start my work day and I'm still pouting a little.  Last night was supposed to be the last (and best) chance this week at my snow day.  There is no snow.  There is rain.  Lots of rain.  And wind.  The weather got one last jab at me on my way in to the office this morning.  I climb out of the (sexy) car rain jacket and hood on.  My hands are full of purse, keys and work bag.  As I'm walking from the (sexy) car to the door the wind decides to blow my hood off and the now pouring down rain right at me.

It's lucky for everyone that there is hot coffee and hot soup in my bag (that did not spill-surprisingly).
